When it comes to developing and reinvigorating profitable enterprises, Tyler Smith has a proven track record of success. To begin with, Tyler was a successful private residential broker, closing over $60 million in transactions and helping to lead Connecticut's top real estate team to an annual volume of more than $194 million in transactional sales. He has personally bought and sold over 500 units and owns hundreds of units in the CT area alone.

Alpha Capital Funds was established in 2017 by Tyler. Mr Smith is the company's CEO, and he is in charge of overseeing all of the company's activities and determining its business strategy and has turned the company into a 100 million dollar company closing on properties nationwide in the last two years alone.

Value Add

Our value add strategy focuses on underperforming and mismanaged assets in strategic locations, and employs modest leverage to boost property efficiency through interior/exterior renovations and management restructurings.

Identify Markets

We begin by determining which submarkets have the most development potential. Projected growth in employment and the population are the primary components of this research, together with supply/demand dynamics and entrance barriers.

IRR

We measure the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) to calculate return on time invested. This indicator allows investors to evaluate the quality of their future cash flows with other investments.

Micro Market Analysis

Once a submarket is selected, we focus on identifying pockets of strong demand drivers, such as low crime rates, good schools, and availability to needs like hospitals or retail and business centers. After identifying a Micro Market, we build an investment criteria based on external, macro, and micro factors.

Cash-on-Cash

The cash-on-cash ratio measures how much a company's cash flow is compared to the amount of money it invested. No important capital activities like sales or refinances are counted in this statistic. High percentages are indicative of strong cash flow, which helps to reduce default risk.

Risk Adjusted Return

When it comes to evaluating each asset, Alpha Capital uses formula developed in-house to account for risk and IRR. A true picture of the quality of the investment can only be provided by using this metric.
