Justin Sudol’s Breakthrough Leadership At Alpha Capital

Justin Sudol’s Breakthrough Leadership At Alpha Capital

How Justin Sudol turned personal resilience and relationship-building into a leadership role—and how his journey is now creating opportunity for others at Alpha Capital

To begin with, Justin Sudol ’18 has never forgotten where he came from. Indeed, that sense of identity helped shape his journey from college student to Director of Investor Relations at Alpha Capital.

In a recent alumni spotlight from Albertus Magnus College, Justin summed it up with a simple equation:

“What I’m doing at home + Albertus = what I’m doing with my career.”

It’s a short statement, but it says a lot. In essence, At its core, Justin’s story is all about staying true to his roots. It is also about seizing every opportunity and building a career that’s both fulfilling and impactful.

Still, his path wasn’t exactly traditional. In fact, as a first-generation college graduate raised by deaf parents, Justin developed a deep appreciation for communication, empathy, and presence. These traits didn’t just shape who he is—they became career tools.

As he puts it “At the end of the day, it’s all about creating and sustaining relationships”.

Indeed, that mindset guides his work at Alpha Capital. There, he plays a key role in building investor trust, supporting internal teams, and mentoring future professionals. His approach is intentional and people-first. As a result, it reflects both who he is and the values that shaped him.

Accordingly, the Albertus article traces his early interest in healthcare, his shift into business development, and his eventual move into real estate and investing. Throughout that journey, he stayed grounded in principles like communication, adaptability, and a strong drive to create opportunity. Fortunately, his professors, mentors, and the Albertus Career Services team helped shape that mindset through career fairs, internships, and honest conversations.

Now, he’s paying it forward.

Justin continues to engage with Albertus. For instance, he attends campus visits, alumni events, and mentors students. That involvement led to Alpha Capital bringing on its first intern from Albertus last year. One connection led to more. Today, several Albertus students contribute to the company’s work in acquisitions, marketing, and operations. Interestingly, this didn’t begin as a formal program. Rather, it started because Justin created space for others the same way Albertus did for him.

“I try to use my deaf culture and community and educate the hearing impaired about the world of finance and real estate,” Justin shared.

Moreover, he encourages students to say yes more often. He urges them not to let hesitation hold them back. “I was working two jobs and running a business while in school,” he said. “I wish I tried even more things. It could have sped up my career even faster.”

That kind of honest perspective makes his mentorship more than just advice. Instead, it becomes lived experience. Consequently, that authenticity creates a ripple effect.

In fact, that experience makes his leadership at Alpha even more impactful. More importantly, he’s not just offering guidance. He’s offering perspective. Because he’s walked the path himself, he can now help others walk it too.

Ultimately, Justin’s story is one of alignment. His values, education, and career work together. Therefore, the ripple effects are real. At Alpha Capital, we value more than resumes or credentials. Instead, we value people who lead with purpose. Justin is a clear example of that.

Without a doubt, we’re proud of his journey, proud of the connection to Albertus Magnus, and proud that his leadership is creating a real impact inside and outside of our company. Looking ahead, we’re just as excited for what comes next—for him, for the students who follow, and for the communities we continue to build together.
